The short version: We collect only what we need. We use your data to run the diagnostic and deliver your report. We never sell it. Documents you upload are automatically deleted after 30 days. You can request full erasure at any time.
1. Who We Are
SalesOptimize is operated by a French micro-entreprise. Our service helps B2B companies identify and fix their biggest sales problems through AI-powered diagnostics and audits.

2. What Data We Collect
We collect the minimum necessary to provide our service:
- Email address — required to deliver your diagnostic results and AI audit report
- Company name — optional, used to personalize your report
- Diagnostic responses — your answers to the 18 assessment questions (business process data, not personal data)
- Uploaded documents — CRM exports, pitch decks, P&L statements, and other business documents you submit for the AI Audit ($49 tier)
We do not collect IP addresses for tracking, use third-party analytics trackers, or create advertising profiles.
3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively to:
- Generate your sales diagnostic score and report
- Perform AI analysis of your uploaded documents (AI Audit only)
- Deliver your report via email
- Send follow-up emails related to your diagnostic (opt out any time)
- Improve diagnostic accuracy (anonymized, aggregated only — never individual data)
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Document Handling & AI Processing
When you purchase the AI Audit ($49), you may upload business documents for analysis.
- Documents are uploaded to secure cloud storage (Cloudflare R2)
- Documents are processed by Claude AI (Anthropic) to generate your report
- Documents are automatically and permanently deleted after 30 days
- Documents are never used to train AI models and never shared with other customers
By uploading documents, you confirm you have the right to share them and consent to AI processing for the purposes described.
5. Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never store, see, or have access to your credit card number or CVV. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe under their Privacy Policy.
6. Cookies & Tracking
We use minimal, functional cookies only:
- Session cookies — to maintain your diagnostic session as you answer questions
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or behavioral analytics. No cookie consent banner is needed because we only use strictly necessary cookies.
7. Data Retention
- Uploaded documents: permanently deleted after 30 days
- Diagnostic results and report: retained for 12 months, then deleted
- Email address: retained until you request deletion or unsubscribe
8. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Union, you have the following rights:
- Right of access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — correct any inaccurate data
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request deletion of all your data
- Right to data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Right to object — object to processing for marketing purposes
- Right to restrict processing — limit how we use your data

9. CNIL Compliance (France)
As a French micro-entreprise, we comply with French data protection law (loi Informatique et Libertés) as amended by the RGPD. Your personal data is processed on the following lawful bases:
- Contract performance — processing your diagnostic and delivering your report
- Legitimate interests — improving our service (anonymized data only)
- Consent — marketing follow-up emails (opt-in, revocable at any time)
You have the right to file a complaint with the CNIL at cnil.fr.
10. Data Security
We protect your data with HTTPS encryption in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive information, and access limited to systems needed to provide the service. If we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you within 72 hours as required by GDPR.

- Render / Neon — Hosting and database
Each provider operates under their own privacy policy and GDPR agreements where applicable.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our service evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
